Mineral Spirits- 5 gallon pail question

I will be getting a new pail of mineral spirits tomorrow. I buy it this way because I can get it first out $7 per gallon and it is a high quality. But I was wondering if anyone has a suggestion on a "valve/ spiget sp? for a 5 gallon pail?

You're looking for a 'bulkhead valve' I have some to sell cheap. Made of brass with hose fitting. Email for details.

Plastic or steel pail?
I haven't tried them for anything but honey but I put "honey gate" valves in sides at the bottom of 5-gal plastic buckets for filling bottles. Also, the hardware store has a variety of valves that should be ok for steel or plastic pails.
I decant mineral spirits from 1-gal cans into smaller plastic bottles for use as needed.

5 gallon bucket pump

Putting a bulkhead fitting at the bottom of the pail might work, but the rubber seals might be incompatible with mineral spirits, and puts you at risk for leakage.
At work we use "5 gallon bucket pumps" that install in the lid of the pail. Cheap ones cost less than $20.
At work we have a lever action pump that works well and is available online for around $40.
...when looking up bucket pumps, Amazon advertised a siphon hand pump, which was a squeezable bulb with flexible tubing on each side. This would also work if you didn't need very much solvent, but would be much messier than the bucket p ump....
