I used System Three, but if you're planning on a large river (rather than my little creek) you'll be dealing special curing issues. Most epoxy has a limit of about 1/2" thick pour that translates into sequential pours in layers that will show up optically in order to avoid heat deformation and curing fractures.

There are resins that can be cast in heavy sections but, last I saw, they are very expensive and require some extra equipment.

Cam at BlackTail Studios (https://www.blacktailstudiopdx.com) in Portland, Oregon uses EcoPoxy which is sold by the Seattle Woodcraft Store.

Another salesperson at Seattle Woodcraft also uses EcoPoxy.
