How many tools to install a door?

Lots if problems are encountered and it involves a Krenov closing arrangement...........
The corner cupboard is done except for glass, and knobs which must be turned and carved. Spent hours putting away stuff that won't be needed to finish up.

.... i build tools or guitars. Gradually, tools take over the entire space and the shelving at the end of the project takes at least a half hour to get everything back in order.
As a naturally messy and disorganized person, I've always wondered what would happen if I could manage to pull myself away from the work in the middle and put all of the tools away for 10 minutes each hour. I think it would be unappealing, but I can't explain why (i have done it a couple of times, it *is* unappealing for some reason. Again, I can't explain why).

Clutter drives me nuts. As any project on my bench progresses, tools accumulate and eventually reach my ultimate aggravation/frustration limit. I have to stop and put things away before I can proceed.

That looks just like my mess. Actually I try at the end of each ship session to at least put away those tools which I know I am done with for the time being. It doesn't always work but it helps keep the clutter to a minimum.

I have a bench-on-bench that I never manage to put away. It has a lot less space on top for tools, so it doesn't take me nearly as long to put them all away when I run out of room on top of it. That's an advantage I didn't even recognize when I built it.
