OT- TDS Water Tester?

Just successful installed a reverse osmosis system in our home. Would like to monitor the system with a TDS tester. Anyone familiar with the different ones available on eBay?

In my opinion TDS meter is a tool used by hucksters to sell water filter.
I agree with most everything this guy says in this video but not sure he is selling good filters.
Only a lab test can give you use full information but I have not found a low cost option.
