I've had good luck with Bosch tools over time, so 3 years ago Santa delivered a Bosch ROS20VSC 5-inch ROS that has met my needs as a hobbyist. Very pleased with how vibration free it is. As an aside, Santa was REALLY good to me that year and also blessed me with a Bosch 6-inch ROS (Bosch was having a super sales deal). That sander can really hog off the wood and is equally vibration free. Dust collection on both is excellent - when hooked to a vac. Jim

Well, if you are fixated on that model you can still go to Amazon and buy a new one for $207.87 (when I looked a moment ago). I have no idea if that is reasonable since I haven't bought a sander for some years now since I have two Bosch sanders myself and they both keep going and going.

I bought a 5" Bosch ROS last year to replace my worn our Porter Cable. I am real happy with it. Dust collection is very good, even without vacuum hookup. My 2 cents.

If you have deep pockets, you owe it to yourself to check out the Festool Rotex sanders and one of their hepafilter equipped dust collectors before you settle for a Bosch. I have an RO150 (6") and an RO90 (3-1/2") dual mode sanders and CT-mini and CT-26 dust collectors that I am very happy with. I don't have a 5" Rotex RO-125, but they are very capable machines as well.
