sound, in many parts. I left the base with the top on it. I took it all apart so some parts are here and some parts are there but all the parts are here and safely. Now to start putting things back together and figuring out where to place it in the garage.

Thanks for the advice. I also received the DeWalt string trimmer and chain saw. I have just charged the batteries and tried the tools to see how they worked and sounded. I think they will do the jobs I need them to do pretty well.

Safe is good but after you get the TS back together don't forget to carefully check the alignment, particularly the top's being parallel with the blade. Heavy iron things can shift pretty easily and they never seem to be fastened down tightly enough for my tastes.

it will be awhile. I figure I will assemble it for now, then do the adjustments latter. I don't have a 220V plug in the garage. Also the wife wants other things done before I start setting up the entire shop area.
