I visit many signage companies like Sign Company New York , they are also provide these services. But my question is that which type of paints I will choose for wood sign which lead to quality and other characteristic like waterproof etc.? Ant suggestions?
I have used urethane paints as background on wooden signs and, wonder of wonders, sign painter paint on the lettering, even when it was scroll-sawed letters glued to the substrate.
This treatment has lasted through outdoor exposure for periods longer than 20 years.
This one was urethane paint with letters varnished with spar. It hung outside our door for more than 30 years.
I thought wood had fallen out of favor for outdoor signs. MDO, Dura-Wood, Alumalite are all examples of material that surpass wood. I'm confused. Are you attempting to start a sign business or just asking what to paint a sign. It's going to take some major money to buy a CNC, large format printer, and vinyl cutter to start.
