Encountered this tragedy on Reddit's Skookum Forum.
He could have saved himself a lot of pain, expense, long term disability and lost wages, if he hadn’t been so bull-headed, fooling himself with some variation on “It can’t happen to me. I’m too smart for that.”
Well, it can happen, and it does, all the time. DAMHIKT! Why do you think every major city has a hospital with a hand trauma center?

If this amputation has convinced anyone here that they should buy a SawStop BEFORE they think they might need it, here is a ¿perfect? opportunity.
I can't see the rip fence in the photos, but it looks like it comes equipped with a long rail set and a table extension. I think I see the red handle of the miter fence.
They are throwing a Northern Tools knockoff of a Tormec slow speed grinder into the deal.
