Banned? Not knowing about this site of golden advise. I useta go on Patriot wood forum. I never cursed, talked dirty, told somebody to Shut Up or nothing out of ordinary. SUDDENLY I WAS BANNED!! Aint ever found out why, believe it is someone in there computer dept. that set up their RECEIVING COMPUTER TO RECOGNIZE MY COMPUTERS NUMBERS AND BAN IT, when I tried to access their site. Anywho 'preciate ya time, first time I ever explained this situation to anyone.

Yall have a gooden.

You could've been unlucky and has the same service provider or local region as someone who was causing trouble on the site.

Some people (not me) will create alternate IDs when they get banned and continue to pop up, and forum administrators can toss them if they have a consistent IP address or something slightly less precise than individual computer addresses.

If the no-access card has to be given to an area or service provider that doesn't wipe too many people out, you can get stuck for guilt by digital proximity.

I discovered that some websites react this way if I have a VPN on. I was confuses by this at first .... why was I banned all of a sudden? The message goes away when the VPN is switched off.
