Most likely it was that you had used the control + to magnify the site once and closed your browser. Then it would start at normal little ittybity fonts.

By the way there are no elves at microsloth. Think trolls.

IIRC you watched a video recently on Youtube. It might have set a cookie and changed your display settings.

I get that frequently, to go back to default I clear all browsing data,

Cntrl + Shift + Del in Chrome.

I cleared cookies and everything and issue persists. To clarify, for some missed the problem......screens come up "minimized" instead of full screen as before. Extra step now to get full screen.

If I delete desktop short cut and log in from Explorer, then go to Messages, the site comes up full screen. I then create a new short cut and pin to desktop. Log out. Click short cut....comes up minimized.

I had the same issue with internet shortcuts I placed on my desktop. This is what worked for me to make all open maximized -

Try this procedure...

Open a webpage link from your desktop. Stretch it out to fullsize. Don't use maximize.



Choose any link on that webpage and right-click> open in a new window.

Stretch that second window out to the desired size- don't use maximize.

Close the first IE window. Then close that second resized window. Now any desktop internet shortcut should open maximized.

Occasionally if you close a smaller window, you will have to do the process again.
