OT- Stretch Wrap?

Looking at different gauges of the above material. The stuff at the local HD seems quite thin and the gauge is not shown. Wondering if anyone is familiar with the different gauges if this material? Going to be packing a bike in a plastic mattress bag and want to then wrap it with stretch.

If you are going to ship the bike, go to a bike store and get some of the spacers that go in the forks. They come with all the new bikes and are usually thrown away.

If you can, remove the pedals. They stick out quite a bit on both sides. Removeing them will reduce the possability of damage in transit.

This is for a overseas flight. Shipbikes would be very expensive. In the range of $600+ one way.

It gets used in my shop for a variety of reasons, including light, but difficult, clamping.
