Check out Zenni Optical. Friends of mine have dealt with them for years. Not on safety glasses, but I am sure they have them. They will need your prescription and the distance between your pupils.

saving money or finding safety glasses? If finding is the problem just ask any employee of a company the requires them and ask where they went to get them.

If ordering on-line you will need not only prescription but also frame size and PD. And you will need some means of fitting when they arrive.

Companies contract out filling prescriptions for employees. If you can find a place that takes this work you might be able to negotiate an equivalent price with them.

I have had prescription safely glasses for decades. I would never buy off the internet. Some frames fit me well, and many don't. There is some value in wearing glasses that are comfortable. More value in having a professional fit them, and the option for refitting when I set on them. Where I got glasses had 2 dozen frames to choose from. A choice usually came down to only one or two possibilities.

Quality frames last better.

Typing : "safety glasses" on the Zenni website returned no results but, typing : "prescription safety glasses" in Google turned up many options from inexpensive to expensive. It seems to me, as safety glasses are for occasional wear, comfortability wouldn't be as important as safety and sharp vision.

Got mine at Walmart, of all places! Great service, nice price, on time delivery. They had 2 varieties of fitting glasses and the first was not to my liking and in no time flat I got the second ones and they are my life these days. Philip

I've purchased glasses from Zenni for a number of years and have been very happy. I did purchase a pair of safety glasses from them an didn't like them. They were regular lenses set into to frame that was not comfortale and didn 't allow bifocals. There newer models might be different but in any event I have enough of a faith that I will order my new set of glasses from them.

I got an interpupilary distance measurement tool off ebay, and now we all get our glasses online.
