Trying to ID this saw tooth cam locking vise. Only cast marking is B 10. 7" wide face. Hefty. Quick opening and release. Lowering handle meshes top and bottom saw tooth sections on the upper and lower plates locking the jaws. Bottom slides in keyway in top plate until lowered handle forces the sawtooth sections to engage -- slick design. I've not seen one before. Found Western PA railroad town.

Thanks Mark. Quick reaction and a pleasant surprise on the history. As soon as the weather breaks I'll brush it down, derust, and clean it up. It's a user for sure. I hope to give it renewed life. Thank you much.

Thanks for asking. I've got one of the vises buried in my shop. In the spring I'll be in the garage sale. I'm a user too. That vise was used until I got one with bigger jaws.

Curiosity got the better of me. So I went to ebay. A Sheldon is up for over $150 as a restorer. A similar operating style but "Massey" is up for well over $300. What is the auction community coming to?
