shaker ladder

While recovering from back surgery, (I was extremely bored). I saw a video of some guy in a shaker shop and saw a ladder similar to this.
I drew it up and started to construct it 1/2 hour at a time. (That was all I could stand).
The top of the leg is attached with tapered sliding dovetails. The steps are through double wedged mortise and tenon.
The back is simple mortise and tenon. I used red milk paint on both. One of the ladders I gave to a friend and he wanted to have the black.
Both were scuffed to imitate age and wear. I hope you enjoy.
