Plant stands

Shown is one of the plant tables made over Christmas for daughter. Another is rectangular top in walnut and a third oak with a single tile top. Her husband finished them recently. Finish is oil then varnish. These tables will set by windows and have plants on them.
A tile topped table is functional for many applications. We have one on the porch in front of a wicker seat and many in the sunny room with plants. They make a good "coffee table" in front of the TV to snack from. There are nice tiles to be found at a large tile store.
Tile is glued to plywood substrate and edge banded with wood of choice.
