I have a very early version ( before parts were blue) of the Kreg fence on my Delta BS. The there are two pieces that attach to the front of the table. The first which actually attaches to the front of the table is an aluminum angle The top surface on that angle is 0.544 inches below the table surface. When you add the fence slide rail to that angle the top of that rail that the fence locking and support bracket ride on is 0.104" below the table surface.

I have a Kreg fence on a Delta band saw. I bought the saw used and the fence came with it. On my setup the angle bracket that mounts to the table top is close to 1/2 an inch below the top of the saw table. The bracket that slides along the angle bracket is roughly 3/8 of an inch as you reported yours to be. When the fence is clamped in position the fence pretty nearly lays on the table top. If it doesn't actually touch the table top it is very close to touching. When the fence is clamped in position the top of the 3/8 inch thick bracket is pretty close to flush with the top of the table. If there is anything I can do to help please ask.

I have had the fence for about ten years on a Delta saw. I have long since forgotten the setup, so I measured it. My angle is .425" below the table. The slider is .02" below the table and the fence brushes the table. It seems to work fine. I also have the micro adjuster and the point fence. I think you will like the fence.

You all have the fence mounted as what seems logical, what shows in the Kreg picture and NOT what the instructions direct. Thanks for help and confirmation
