I was wondering if anyone has used one of these I need to drill some holes and drive screws in some tight spaces and wasn't sure if this might be a reliable way to achieve this. thanks

Howie, I’ve got one of these DeWALT right angle attachments that can be powered by a flex shaft / drill. It worked better than anything else I’ve ever found.

I've used a flex shaft for drilling.  Worked well.
