Does anyone know if Don Weber is still doing business in Paint Lick Ky? I visited his shop late in 2006 when I made a trip to South Carolina to see my grand daughter graduate from Army basic training. I know there was a major flood several years ago and I don't know if Don's shop survived that or not. Don's an interesting character!

Some of my ancestors lived in the Paint Lick area prior to the Civil War. I have been to the Paint Lick Cemetery 3 times but I doubt that I will make the trip there from Kansas again.

Open Google and search for "don weber paint lick ky" (without the quotes, of course) and take your pick. There are some old results and some quite fresh so I'd assume he is still active.

His Facebook bio states that he "worked at" Don Weber's Handcraft Woodworks.

Last time he mentioned his business was in 2013, and his email address was Dbodger@kyblue.com

The domain "handcraftwoodworks.com" is for sale.

I had already searched on Don and most of the stuff I found was either old or of indeterminate age. I couldn't find anything that made it clear whether or not he was still in business.
