Don't skimp on the DC system. It sounds as if you are in need of an industrial sized DC. I am not sure that Onida has a large enough system.

I would let Oneida determine what you need. Draw out your setup with inlet sizes included, and show it to them. As far as the size of the dust collector I'm thinking one of the deciding factors is going to be how many machines will be used at one time. If it's a one man shop the minimal amount of dust gates will be open each time the DC is used.

it is a two man shop. building furniture and gift boxes. The CNC routers will run considerably! ( let’s hope so)

I have an Oneida system in my shop and it works very well. You give them a drawing of your shop layout and they will give you a recommended schematic of the piping, sizing, parts needed, etc.
