Loose hinge pins

I made a kitchen island with doors on the sides maybe 25 or 30 years ago and the pins in the hinges are starting to fall out. I tried using a center punch on the end of one of them to get to expand a little but it was too hard. Does anyone have any other ideas, I really don't want to have to replace them.

Can you remove the pins and flare the head end a bit?
How about squeezing the top hinge barrel?
How about solder?
How about a drop of thick CA on top?

Put a slight bend in the pin.

I used to bend pins, or I tried sticking something small in the hole. Toothpicks work really well with pins or loose nails. My dad also puts some tissue for the pins to be tight

One simple way to "expand" a pin is to use a brass hammer and file. Just lay the pin on an anvil (or other heavy metal surface you don't care about damaging) and place the edge of the file on the area you wish to "expand" tap the file and use the file to rotate the pin this will raise ridges on the pin in the area you desire.
I have done this many times over the last 60 years!
