Sawstop question

Since I had downsized my shop space over the past few years, I sold my PM 66 and replaced it with a Sawstop contractor saw. Today was the first time I used it with my old crosscut jig, which is made of aluminum. Apparently the slots in the old PM and the new Sawstop are not exactly the same distance from the blade, and the jig hit the blade by about 1/64th of an inch or less, causing the Sawstop to do what it is designed to do. So I know I have to buy a new cartridge for the Sawstop, but is there any hope for the Forrest WWII that was in the saw at the time, or is that also toast?
