Delta 36-650 won't turn off! - UPDATE

Guys....thanks so much for all your input. I got the switch out and sure enough, the contacts had welded themselves together. Would have been an easy fix....but (sigh....the infamous "but") I didn't know there were 2 spring loaded contacts in the switch. When I opened it up...POING.....yep...they jumped out into the shop. I found one of them rather quickly. But the second one.....URGHHHH...it must be invisible. I can say this...my shop is cleaner now than it has been in a long time. I moved everything and cleaned in and around everything looking for the "spring thing". No luck. I tried every electrical shop in Abilene just for the "thing". Not only could I not find the "thing", but I couldn't find a suitable replacement switch. The switch on the saw has a paddle shut-off which I dearly love. If I would give that up, I would have come home with a switch yesterday. However, having the BIG "off" switch is just a safety comfort for me.
I called Delta and (per Bill's suggestion) tried to play the "safety card". Uh...they weren't buying it. So I have a $40 switch ($30 + $10 shipping) on the way. John....I appreciate the link to eReplacements, but as previously articulated, the paddle "off" switch is a safety function I didn't want to give up.
