OT sorta well not Really

My father turned 90 years old yesterday October 12, 2018. I am back home in Grand Forks and for his birthday we drove around town to see the places he's lived and other sights. Here is Dad-Roland Young in fron of the house where he grew up. There is a large ash tree between the Garage and the House. The tree is thriving and was planted by His Mom-Alta Young after she picked up a small thumbsized little Ash tree she found while on a Sunday Drive-probably before 1940.

Great picture, great story. I'm quite envious, my Dad has been gone for 33 years, I was 32 when he died. So I've now lived longer without him than with him. I love to commemorate major events with a tree planting. So rewarding over time! Happy milestone birthday to your Dad.

My story with my mom is much like yours with your Dad I've now lived longer with her than with her. So every Day with Dad is a gift.
