I recently received my Mother's Lane Cedar chest (model 5250-M). It has been stored in an environment without climate controls and the glue simply have our. When it came apart, the bracket assembling that supports the tray was badly bent. The results of my attempt to straighten it with heat are not clear. Is there any aftermarket sources for this other than salvaging another one? Once it is structurally sound, I'll tackly refinishing
One way might be to contact Lane to see if they could supply the hardware. Each Lane chest has a number stamped on the bottom that identifies which one it is. Perhaps they could help. Worth a call to see.
