unable to search

when attempting a search, I get the following error:

We experienced a pretty major hit to our search function when our host performed a server security upgrade a while back. We've been trying to figure out a good workaround, but the Google site-specific search is really quite good, so we're considering making it our default search function.
Try it. If you aren't successful in getting the results you were looking for, let me know.
