You can view the latest 15 uploads from each channel directly on our site without needing to visit YouTube. This feature allows you to quickly check out new content as it’s posted. (Note: If a channel is monetized, the creator still earns credit for views, whether the video is watched here as an embed or directly on YouTube. This is permitted under YouTube’s terms of service. Creators can opt to disable embedding if they choose, in which case you’ll need to click through to YouTube to watch. Few creators do this, though, and it’s unclear why they would—embedding their videos on sites like ours is essentially free promotion for them.)
We’ve also introduced a channel rating feature. When you visit a channel’s page on WoodCentral, you can rate it and leave comments. With over 150 channels to explore, browsing the list can feel overwhelming. Our goal is that reader ratings will help spotlight the most valuable and useful channels for the community.
