Over the years, our community has thrived because of the knowledge, passion, and generosity of its members. Lately, though, our posting activity has slowed down. Many great conversations simply aren’t happening—not because interest is gone, but because no one has stepped forward to spark them.
We’d like to change that.
We’re looking for a few volunteer moderators who aren’t just “rule-keepers,” but discussion starters—people who love the topics we cover and want to help breathe new life into the forums.
What we’re looking for
Moderators who can:
- Start new threads on topics they care about
- Encourage participation by asking questions and welcoming newcomers
- Share interesting articles, news, tips, or projects
- Keep conversations respectful and on track, when needed
This is less about policing and more about leading by example—showing others that it’s okay (and encouraged!) to start new conversations.
Why we need you
Activity breeds activity. When members see regular posts—questions, projects, ideas, reviews, how-tos—they join in. When the forum sits quiet, people assume there’s nothing to say.
A few motivated moderators can turn that around quickly.
What’s in it for you
- A chance to shape the direction of the community
- Recognition as someone helping keep the site strong
- Early input on future features and changes
- The satisfaction of keeping a long-standing community alive and vibrant
Even if you’ve never moderated before, don’t worry—we’re happy to guide you.
How to volunteer

Let us know what areas you’re most passionate about, and we’ll go from there.
If you value this community and want to help keep it active, now is the time.
Let’s work together to spark new discussions and bring fresh energy to the forum!
