Bracelet And Ring Boxes

Made for a special friend across the Atlantic.

SHOP OWNER: Jeremy Norman

LOCATION: Matlaske, Norfolk, UK.

I made these matching bracelet and ring boxes for a very special friend. They traveled all the way across the Atlantic Ocean to Canada, where they are kept in a very prominent place on her nightstand.

The boxes were made from English walnut, grown in my home county, and the tops from spalted sycamore. The bracelet and ring boxes were finished using three coats of clear French polish and a single coat of wax.

The inspiration for making these came from the wonderful books by Doug Stowe. Doug's boxes embody the skill, artistry, and innovation that has made his work prized by collectors.
