The homepage is designed to be your one-stop dashboard for everything happening across the entire site. No login required — everything works with your browser’s built-in storage.
What the Homepage Shows
The page is divided into several sections:
- Recent Forum Posts – The newest threads and replies from the ForkBB forum.
- Latest Articles & Blog Posts – Fresh content published through WordPress.
- New Gallery Uploads – Recently added photos in the Piwigo gallery.
- New Marketplace Listings – Fresh classified ads from Osclass.
- Latest Comments – Latest comments left on articles and blog posts.
- Links – Random links from our link database.
We use advanced caching techniques to make pages load lightning fast. Updates are not real-time but determined by how often data is polled and the page cache revised.
The Bookmark & Notes Feature
This is a private, personal tool that lives entirely in your browser.
What you can do:
- Bookmark any page on WoodCentral (or any external website)
- Keep private notes that aren’t tied to any specific page
- Everything is saved automatically — no account or login needed
How to use it:
- While browsing any page on WoodCentral, click the “Bookmark This Page” button in the lower-right corner of the menu bar.
- A small window will pop up allowing you to edit the page title
- Add your own notes or reminders
Important notes about the bookmark system:
- Your bookmarks are stored only in your browser. They stay on the device you’re using.
- If you clear your browser’s cache/cookies or switch to a different computer or browser, your bookmarks will disappear.
- This is by design — no login, no tracking, no data sent to our servers.
- You can export your bookmarks as a JSON file from the homepage if you ever want a backup.
