Skew Chisel Long Edges ()

GaryG in MD
The corners get removed when you grind the edge anyway, so you can be as aggressive as you like. There are, after all, round skews, such as those 1/4" versions from Bob Rosand. So you can use any abrasive tool you like. One or two seconds on any wheel or belt -- or just run a diamond card along them if you want to be conservative. Just round them over to your own satisfaction. Many skews now come OEM with a rounded side, such as those from Doug Thompson, for example -- he grinds his with the rounded side as the heel. FWIW.
