Yeah, those pens are great and work well under the finishes I use; homemade friction polish, lacquer and varnish (oil and WB). I let it dry before finishing. I've also used these above the finish when I brain-fart. The India ink doesn't fade either. I have an unopened package that reads: "Faber-Castell - Pitt Artist Pens." Since I do mostly small stuff, I use the superfine (0.3mm) and the extra superfine (0.1mm). Because these tips are small and delicate, I use a hand lens and depending on the wood retrace a second time.
