Benwell (the ghetto), Newcastle upon Tyne. Transient population. Lots of broken furniture. I've been buying old chisels at the car boot fairs for 20p each, and using chair stretchers to replace the broken/missing handles. Gas pipe and hacksaw makes ferrules. Just users. I often go by the back lanes and look in builders skips. Just grab it when you see it, it always comes in useful and you think, "Damn, that would have been £7 at Maxwells…". I just want some of the 1.5", 10" wide oak floorboards the houses here have. And some wood in the round...
