Kind of surprised that they used a more pointed bit for the final pass. My thinking would be more of a ball cutter for the inside, and more of a concave cutter for the outside. Interesting to see that they have tear out problems on the end grain as well. Wonder if they could make a sanding bit??? They would have to slow the machine way down. Turning time for me on a bowl that size would be maybe 5 minutes, and probably would need far less sanding....
