misinterpreting *PIC*

Mine was a question not a taste statement. Maybe the builder can't afford the foreign wood, or can't find any more, or his daughter likes painted legs. How can one advise until one knows what is motivating the question?

I occasionally use contrasting wood, maple and walnut for example....
