Electrolysis how-to ()

Read what Spencer and I wrote about it in our Articles section. You will find that most of what Jack wrote is incorrect. Almost everything on the Internet is incorrect except the contributions of those plagiarizing what Spencer and I wrote.

Electrolysis is a dandy way of stripping most anything off steel. Once someone called me and asked about stripping a tractor! Those hydrogen bubbles get under edges and paint, oil, Japanning and it all comes off.

There is zero chance of "erosion". The metal is cathodic during treatment and nothing will be removed that is not already loose.

I find it a great way to clean stuff because nothing is lost unless it is loose and nothing is added.
