I confess that I just wouldn't cut a panel with a hand saw. I just wouldn't , even aside from my arthritic shoulders; I would use a table saw. But this site fascinates me! And the other day at a thrift shop I headed out (after paying $3 dollars) with an old Stanley rip tooth saw. Did I buy junk? On the saw is written: Stanley Handyman No. 15 --350 8 points 26 inch * 650 mm made in USA. I will make a point of cutting something with it.
