..i don't think it makes great tool handles (they're nice, but they do feel a lot like khaya, and I don't think khaya has the right texture for tool handles).

Also like khaya, a very dusty wood.

The moabi turns more easily than one would expect for the hardness (whacking the handles on an ash bench confirm the hardness - it's closer to hickory or locust hardness).

will save it for guitar necks or backs and sides (the rest of it).
