There may be better ways (by a lot) to make a whole bunch of chisel handles. I don't cut the tube or the ferrule until it's already on the chisel tenon, and someone producing a bunch of chisels at once may pre-make the ferrules.

All of the turning is between centers, too, which limits what I can do on the end of the stubs (but also prevents me from having to change anything on the lathe - I'm not a big jig maker of any sort if not needed, so no mandrels, etc. - that leads to doing a lot of quick stuff by hand instead).
