I bought all of them for less than the cost of one of the nice modern sets. My shop is dry-docked now for several reasons, and plans change as life changes. Threading a dowel and making the nut is just a part of making a bench vise screw. I’d say the Lake Erie wood screws are pretty fairly priced.
