LN Gent ()

I have the LN gents saws. I like them and use them for smaller-scale work. They have thin plates and fine teeth. In my mind, the gent's saw does not have quite as much "authority" as the pistol grip style, particularly when cutting large dovetails in thick boards, but they can have a place in the shop . As Derek said, the pull saw also has its place. I use a small Japanese pull saw to cut half pins more accurately and avoid some chisel work on that critical part of the dovetail joint.
