CJ in MPLS
I just finished (almost) a new infill miter plane based on the A11 design.
The blade is bedded at 20 degrees. Both the blade and lever cap are from St. James Bay Tool Co and I've had them for at least 10 years I think. The infill is bocote and while it looks great, that is some gooey stuff.
I am still considering whether to send it out for grinding or to do more flattening on the table saw extension. Both ways are expensive ($ v. soreness).
