1.25% wrong again...

.I was reading white 1 at 1.3% and no chromium

It's 1.25% with a very small amount of chromium (which should make it more favorable to harden in parks - white steel has nothing but a very small amount of manganese).

At any rate, I can feel the chromium in 52100, but 26c3 only has 1/5th as much. It'll have to be softer before I could begin to tell it's there, and in that small amount, it's probably not roaming free in the steel at all.

Even at crazy hardness, it grinds on a fresh ceramic belt like nothing (but then turns around and really resists the india stone).
