Saw handles can be quite enjoyable to make.

The oak handle was a replacement for a gent's saw handle that wasn't working well for my son; he picked out the quartersawn red oak for the handle. That was the first saw handle I ever made (from a pattern supplied by Blackburn Tools--not my own design). The original saw is also shown.

The cherry handle was the second, from a similar pattern also supplied by Blackburn Tools. The images show the completed 9 inch dovetail saw kit from Blackburn Tools.
