Warren - I have idea what you're angling for. It's clear that I&H Sorby mortise chisels were ground like this from the factory.
if you have a preference for other profiles and search for pictures to find them, that's fine.
I&H sorby chisels are generally in a class with ward chisels, so I'm not inclined to worry about whether or not they have shortcomings because they're not ground like your favorites.
If you think my chisels aren't factory ground, then you probably ought to address why the other used versions look identical or state what the point is.
