I believe you just leave behind whatever you have. I don't know at what point forgetting something becomes an issue (as in, can a big folder - something I don't even have) rise to more than just confiscation?

I've seen auction lots - maybe on Ebay, not sure I remember - that advertise that they're grab bags of TSA confiscations. They're just the junk that's not worth selling individually, but plenty of farmers, etc, fly, and I'm sure pocket knives are forgotten all the time.
