>I am selling my Keller 1601 Dovetail templates. This is the seperate Pins and Tails templates that sell for $249.00. I am also including both bits in excellent shape, and the optional Box Joint bit that allows you to make 1/2" box joints.
This is an excellent jig and the easiest one to use. I own an Omnijig, Leigh D4, and the Keller. Once tuned there are no trial cuts, you could pick the template one year later, clamp a board to it, and produce a perfect fitting joint.
Here is what Keller has to say about this jig :
Template width: 16''
Standard Bits: 3/8'' to 3/4''
Small Bits: 1/8'' to 3/8''
Stock Width: Unlimited
Stock Length: Unlimited
Dovetail Angle: 7°
Normal pin spacing:
1 1/8'' center to center
The most popular of the Pro Series, the Keller 1601 is great for dovetailing drawers, cabinets, midsized furniture and small boxes and giftware.
Professional, amateur, production and school shops have been successfully using this model since 1984. Production shops are regularly dovetailing up to 40 drawers per hour.
The Standard Bit Set supplied can be used for drawers and furniture; the Small Bit Set (#1601s2) can be used with the same templates for presentation cases, giftware and other small boxes.
Shorter material can be run with the templates upside-down on your router table for speed and convenience. We recommend the addition of the Pro Clamp Kit (#6010) for production dovetailing.
Like all templates in the Pro Series, the 1601 is precision machined from heavy duty 1/2'' aluminum alloy tooling plate and is warranted for 20 years. Made in the USA.
I am asking $200 dollars which includes the shipping, and insurance to get it to your door.
