Christmas pyramid rebuild *PIC*

Cameron
I was gifted an old pyramid last Christmas that was missing a bunch of parts, including all the candle holders and one of the blades and had a few thing that had fallen off/moved. I've been trying my hand at bowls over the past couple years so this is my 1st attempt at something on the smaller and spindle side of the equation. Like usual, there was a learning curve but after ~8 hours over this weekend I now have a functioning pyramid and I'm happy with the holders (maple cup and walnut holder). The original fan hub has a lot of wear in the holes and is not perfectly square so I think I'm going to make a new one. One turning note, I tried to give Allen Batty's skew techniques a try (impressed with the cleanness of his cuts) but it didn't end well. I probably need to practice on something before jumping into the skew 8-) and I'm guessing that my crown tools kit skew might be a little too small for the diameter of the cups I was turning...
