Below, in an earlier post, I praised Jet/Wilton for good tech service in helping me diagnose my starting cap problem.
I ordered a new one.
I received a new one.
It is not the correct physical size to fit in the can enclosure on the motor.
It is also not the correct capacitance, although that may be a problem or not -- it's only half what it should be, although the new size is physically larger.
I am not a happy camper.
They are, of course, closed for Labor Day, so I'm going to have to wait another three days to even talk to them about the problem and probably another week to get a replacement, if they even have one.
This hand cranking is getting old.
