Why I like bevel rubbing cuts *PIC*

Here is one of 3 spindles I turned this morning. I used my skew and 3/8" detail gouge and parting tool. I haven't touched it with sandpaper at the time of this photo. This is why I prefer to use bevel rubbing tool rather than scrapers. After the photo I hit it with 400 grit just to smooth out a few marks where the bevel burnished the wood slightly so it was actually glossier there.
