Haha, random pictures from the interwebs with a voice over. Thanks for the daily levity.

The orange art nouveau orange tailstock part way through was kind of nice looking (not exceptionally heavy duty but attractive).

The handle on our one frying pan was made on a metal lathe about 14 years ago when I didn't have a wood lathe but was able to borrow a friends metal lathe and center bore it then ground a couple of scrapers out of some scrap O1 and set to. Came out quite nice (if perhaps 1/8" short - solved by a small brass washer). I did have to agree to CLEAN UP really well before hand though :) Wood shavings and metal lathes aren't the best of friends.
